This website is run by HK Exterior Cleaning, a local exterior cleaning business serving Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham. We are the controller of the personal information you give us through this site. You can contact us using the details on our contact page.

When you send an enquiry through our quote form, we collect your name, telephone number and property address, the services you are interested in, any message you choose to add, and the page you sent the form from. If you contact us by telephone, email or WhatsApp, we also see the details you share with us there.

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to prepare and send you a quote and, if you go ahead, to arrange and carry out the work. We do not use them for anything unrelated to that, we do not sell them, and we do not pass them to other businesses for marketing.

Our legal basis is that we need your details to respond to your request and, if you become a customer, to perform our contract with you.

Your enquiry is sent by email to the business, and only the people who deal with enquiries and carry out jobs see it. We use ordinary service providers to run the website and its email, and they handle data only as needed to do that for us.

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to reply to you and to carry out any work, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you have questions about a job. We delete them when they are no longer needed.

This website uses only essential cookies, which keep the site working securely (for example, they protect the quote form against forged submissions). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use analytics that follow you around the web. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, we do not need to ask for your consent to set them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still load, but the quote form may not work, in which case you can always call or message us instead.

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to give you a copy of it. To use any of these rights, contact us and we will deal with your request promptly.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would always prefer the chance to put things right first.

If we change how we use personal information, we will update this page so that it always reflects what we do.
